A Ship at Rest, a Sky in Motion
Perched atop the dramatic cliffs of Llantwit Major, I captured this scene with my trusty 70-200mm lens. A lone ship sits serenely upon the waters near Minehead, seemingly oblivious to the drama unfolding above. Great swathes of cloud billow and churn across the sky, their shadows dancing across the surface of the sea. But even amidst this tempestuous display, fingers of sunlight break through, casting a radiant glow upon the distant coastline and dappling the waters with light. It's a moment of exquisite contrasts, where the stillness of the solitary vessel is thrown into sharp relief by the turbulent skies. From my vantage point high above the Bristol Channel, I was fortunate enough to witness nature create a scene that is both profoundly peaceful and strikingly powerful, a testament to the raw beauty of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast
